Kimball Union Academy has been inspiring students to leadership since it first opened its doors in 1813, shortly after James Madison was elected president and the Mexican War of Independence raged to the south. The sixth oldest independent school in the United States, Kimball Union turned to Nomad to chronicle its rich and storied past. Working with KUA’s archivist and communications director, Nomad created a timeline tied to the themes that have allowed Kimball Union to flourish for more than 200 years. The result is a compelling and beautiful history of an iconic school. “Flawless,” school officials said of the effort.
